Technology has made everything easier and more convenient. Today, you can create or “generate” web pages in as easy as counter 1-2-3. However, having a good web design that major search engines takes more than just “generating” pages. Have you ever seen a website that looks good on a specific browser but looks crappy in another browser?
Consider the following things in your web design:
- Images. We all know how much an image says about content but the file is also too much. You need to be careful in putting a lot of images that will take loading the page more than 5 seconds.
- Easy navigation. Internet users don’t have much patience with websites that are too complicated to operate. It is your job to make navigation easy and convenient to them
- Avoid pop up new windows that will make the user’s screen look cluttered and unorganized especially when they click on links.
- Plain fonts. Avoid fonts that are hard to find. Limit yourself from stuffing your website with too much “style.”
